Break UpsMarried MenMy Dating HangoversTHIS is Why I'm Single! When you're dating your ex

A few hours later…

Great minds think alike! Esme, you’re so right.

Fu#k these men with all of their issues.

I decided at 2:25pm this afternoon that Rescue needs to be rescued. Pun intended.

I told a friend a few weeks ago we need to stop dealing with these dog pound-caliber of men.

Yes, I said dog pound. They’re cute, you want to cuddle them and even though they’re tattered and beat up from life events, some of us feel the need to rescue them.

So last night, I accepted a last minute invitation to see a Foo Fighters concert with….. Tall Glass of Wine.

And a great time was had by all!

Until there’s a cure for the hangovers.

Hangover - a let down following great excitement or excess. Wow. This one sentence describes nearly all of my dating and relationship experiences!

I'm a 30 year-old woman muddling through the Los Angeles dating scene and yes - Believe all that you've heard about the screwed up men and women in La-La Land.

This blog is of my actual experiences that will either make you chuckle, laugh out loud or maybe say "aw.....".

If your dating hangovers seem worse than the next person's, read on, post a comment and enjoy!

  1. I’m sooo glad you had fun!!

And dog pound-caliber of men is a great way to put it. They look at you with those adorable eyes…then take a piss in your Manolo’s. And those damn shoes are just too expensive to keep taking that stupid mutt back in!

      1. Yes we certainly do need to be reminded and no matter how much someone says “I love you”, its the actions that count.

I’m looking forward to just dating again, having fun and not being so concerned about finding that right one.

  2. Foo Fighter concert and with a former hangover?? Now that sounds interesting and like you hd a lot of fun.

Good for you and remember this – no matter what happens with your relationship, it’s all a learning experience. Or so we are supposed to convince ourselves.

    1. I’m trying to have that mentality Kimmie and for the most part, I’m taking it in stride.

Learning lesson and where I went wrong so I’ll know next time!

  3. Good for you! It’s time to have some fun and enjoy life. Men or women who have too much baggage should be by their damn selves!

Have fun doing you and I’m sure the concert was a hoot.
