The Birthday Boy’s Night Out

The Birthday Boy’s Night Out

itsyourbirthday

Tonight will be a night of celebration!

Out of Sight is ushering in another year on this earth,  and I offered to bring it in right beside him.  We are in a different place for sure, and as annoyed as I was that I had fallen for yet another man that was in transition, I took the necessary steps to pull back.

I was caught up.  Big time.

So for now, I’m still going strong on the dating site and we are maintaining a friendship, no sex involved.

Okay, I lied.  Just one other time a few weeks ago that was a knock your socks off type of encounter.

Tonight I’m breaking out the dress and red pumps, taking extra time to get the hair and make up just right. The goal is to make him want it BUT I will be strong. My imaginary panties of steel armor will be on and as an added precaution, my Ladygasm is coming out of the drawer.   You know,  to take the edge off.

So here’s to a good evening with a man who has truly formed a bond of friendship with me. Even though things didn’t look like they would end up where I wanted, Out of Sight is still within site but from a distance. Now off I go to put the finishing touches on this hair. I sure hope he wasn’t the same thing and arrives on my door step looking irresistibly yummy or I’m screwed. Literally.

Until there’s a cure…

Hangover - a let down following great excitement or excess. Wow. This one sentence describes nearly all of my dating and relationship experiences!

I'm a 30 year-old woman muddling through the Los Angeles dating scene and yes - Believe all that you've heard about the screwed up men and women in La-La Land.

This blog is of my actual experiences that will either make you chuckle, laugh out loud or maybe say "aw.....".

If your dating hangovers seem worse than the next person's, read on, post a comment and enjoy!

    1. Funny Erin, this is my first experience with a male Leo. Guess I should do a little reading on these types, perhaps it’ll give more insight than my crass opinion of the situation.

      Until there’s a cure, right?

    1. Mel, we had an absolutely fabulous time out which is no different, we always do whenever we get together. He was appreciative, fully and it made me feel good to see him really having a good night out.

      What happens next?

Not a damn thing, as we move along, business as usual.

These men need to get their minds right because I sure as hell won’t be trying to force the issue with someone who doesn’t want the same thing.

  1. Birthday outing huh? My money says the chemistry between you two was so crazy, the night had a happy ending!
